Destination

We yearn for peace,
while fighting in chaos.
No promises we keep,
even what we had thought off;
Long ways are ahead,
longer than we may fathom!
O lord do we even remember, the day it had started upon!!

In the darkness we travel,
walking through the mirage of confidence.
Although our destination is known,
It's the path we could never sense;
Yet we seem to keep our travel,
like we had never pondered up!
O my forefathers I know,
You already had me all sorted up!!

What companion we have,
is it the shadow in the moonlight!
Or are we alone to come,
And lonely will we see through the night;
Is this darkness our true friend,
Or should we continue with our fight!
O holy waters of Ganges,
the way you had manoeuvred on the mountains at such heights!!

The longer we travel,
the farthest is the destination,
The bid to reach it,
will keep hanging in our imagination;
While we have not thought of, the lost cause we may have to defend!
O lord mother tell me now,
is this the only way will we meet the end!!

We might have a chance

Why does the heart battle, with the logics of the mind?
when would we be able to settle, the chaos of our time!
Why is the life so demanding, as if our needs are always pending?
while what we have is not ours and with nothing will we be ascending!

Why is the peace missing, from all of our aims?
While whatever we do is preset, like water from the cloud rains!
Why do we care what others think about us?
when the almighty god himself resides within us!

Where is that nature, that is our true mother?
As lifeform we had evolved, we know certainly from her!
while we have managed to remember her in agendas,
In true sense they are only beautifying our verandas!

We are becoming more confused, while thinking we are evolving,
Our kind is actually moving towards the ending!
When we answer the questions, the right way it's asked,
Then someday my friends, we might have a chance!!

CIVILIZATION

The episode that started with the Adam and the Eve
We never knew we had so much to weave
The race which had their ways such naive
will create a world that is now such brave!

As creatures we had dwelled highest in the food chain

Understood better the traits of misery, hatred and pain.
Societies we had formed and ways our mind trained.
We traded, bartered and created virtues of loss and gain.

But now everything we know is coming to an end.

All of our efforts and scientific calculations have resulted in vain!
And we shall have to resort to the only way to sustain,
A new civilization,  where a new ecosystem we shall find and maintain!!

The west was the first to stumbble. The smarter they think they were, the quicker they vanished from the face of the earth. A millenia of outperforming civilization, this fate was inevitable. If you are a fast runner, you got to fall first. The humanity was growing at such an alarming level, population just started falling down. Humans have always been such an adaptable creature but oxygen is a scarce gas, we could not adapt before the scarcity.

Date: August 22, 3084
Place: Indian space Research Organization, in the heart of Gurugram, India

I was watching out of the vibranium glass window of the laboratory, there had been an indefinite sand storm that had been clearly declaring that this is the end. We could see it! First the Europeans broadcast stopped then the Americans and last week the Australians. The way people started falling down and die within seconds was first a word of mouth, then a normal sight and within weeks a pandemic. I still remember my couleague Venkatramana fell down helplessly, trying to grasp last of the breathable air out of the same window, I stand in front of now. Suddenly, a sharp tone of the bright American lady Ms Rosy from behind me, woke me from my thoughts!

Hey Bishwas! you should not be standing here without your mask! I looked back at her as she generously put her mask on my face. Here, breath! you are an international hero now who will join the elite fleet. You must have more of this! I chuckeled with amazement! C'mon Rosy, what are you saying, I am just an argheologist and historian. Why would they take me? Although the news excited me. I am bored of this constant freaky storm that is one day going to be at every place of this earth which was called habitable.

Whose World is this?

Whose World is this?
Killers! rapists! or the laughing terrorists!!
Those self righteous atheist, who doubts everything that exists!
Or those who are just greedy and take calculated risks,
of their conscience around their own shady mists!

Whom do we go to?
Police! strongman! or the bureaucratic politicians!
Everything that they stand for is a mere aberration!
One keeps crying for help and keeps waiting for solution!
Days, months, years, ages! meets their final salvation!

Where do we go?
To the church! the mosque! or the exuberant temple,
Who have scarcely to offer while pretending ample!
While the inner peace is a hoax like searching soul in a vast jungle.
One only keeps seeking, deemed to finally fall and tumble!

So now whose world is this?
Self believer, doer, or the human being himself!
Who believes in equality and also upholds self interest!
That one must be tactful in this world and still have emotions as his best!
That one must not fear then, as the divine lord is to take care of the rest!!!

The Yogi

Yogi was not aware that as he was floating, he could have floated anywhere. He never knew the depth, he never could..there was no system, there was no breath that could tell him with a steep rise that this was it..stop!and as much as he enjoyed the flow, he was also perturbed that he was not in control. Suddenly a jerk to the right and he was awake, and she was standing, a lady in white saari, somehow very different from a human form..she was never meant to be standing there, how and from where did she suddenly come?

She knew everything. She was angry yet very kind, She said everything yet she was silent. Yogi could not move a bit, rather he understood why suddenly a lady, wrapped in while silk, was standing in front of her window right next to the bed and staring at him with those sparky eyes. It was Yogi's first night of sleeping alone in the other room, away from parents and he knew she was saying"Dear Yogi beta!don't wander across streets which is not yours. This body is your possession, do not loose it until its time". Gradually a current went through Yogi's body and the goosebumps made him feel more vulnerable to her might. Earlier he never had such visits. He never went this far too as he went today. Perhaps because a lone wolf becomes more free of surroundings and reaches out farther than usual. Whatever be but now as he felt helpless, he shouted in panic, looking away from the lady, and this time he was awake, for good! He could hear his father open his bedroom gates to go to the washroom outside. Yogi ran out and reached for his father but just not loosing his respect, as a boy entering manhood, slowly he said" hey pa, you are up too, lets visit the washrooms together" His father looked at him with sleepy eyes and that was the end of it.

Its been few years now after that incident. Yogi tried to wander the same way in his sleeps as he used to do when he was a kid, but somehow it seemed impossible. Gradually he started forgetting the incidents as bad dreams and tried to move up with his life. However, he would always discuss with his close friends, few interested strangers, and others about the phenomena where he felt like running in thick air in his sleep, more like jumping with very high intensity, and seeing the world at a very minute level from a very higher ground. Many people would would listen patiently, few would ignore telling him to concentrate on more constructive things. Some people would tell him that there are others who have also felt such things. Those people relate it to past life experiences, some would even say these are infatuations of a fatigue mind. But Yogi would always differ stating he was never tired as a kid when he had such encounters.

More years passed by, Yogi has become an adult now. He met a friend from Baba Ramdev's Yoga club. While he appreciated the effects of Yoga in his day to day life, Yogi somehow also enjoyed the enchanting silence that his soul experienced while doing yoga. Yogi had mastered many difficult postures of Yogasana- "Eka Hasta Vrksasana", "Sirsa Padasana", "Pungu Mayurasana","Gandha Bherundasana", "Sayanasana","Kala Bhairavasana", "Taraksvasana","Double Buddhasana", and so on. "Yoganidrasana" in particular had become Yogi's personnel favorite. His eyesight had earlier become poor since past few years but through continuous yoga practice now, Yogi was able to correct it to a great extent. Yogi was beginning to feel that touch of refiness in his mood swings too. He was able to feel more control over his body, soul and above all his mind.

He could feel the power within. One bounce at the edge and Yogi could now fly miles up, also having a view and control of everything around him and his body. He was away from the reach of his family deity also who had once controlled her while he was scared kid. She could now perhaps not match his strength, as so Yogi felt. Where is this unlimited power going to take Yogi, is there a next level, a different world, a different plane, with different set of rules? Is Yogi ready for all this?

Reflections of an auto biography

CHAPTER 1: My daily walk to School
(Excerpts from life of a man who devoted his life for others, a true story!)

I could not open my eyes though the daylight has already poured in. I explained my exhausted body that Perhaps I will sleep early tonight. Last night I could not manage. I had to finish my studies and I had also promised my cousin brother Devan bhai that I will wash out the dungs off the floor of his cow shed. I did that last night and perhaps I will study less today and have a good night sleep. I will sleep more than 5 hours. Yes, that will certainly take away the fatigue I am feeling now!
As, I prepared myself to help my mind get control of my body, I remembered there is a hell lot to do today. It was 5 AM and the air was pretty lazy but then I gathered myself to start my day.

The neem sticks cleared the pinches of dirt out of my mouth and I loudly goggled them out with the hand pump water. At 7 Am sharp masterji wanted me in the class. I never wanted to irate him but the school was 7 kilometres away, I could have always reached in time if I had one of those slippers that the son of mukhiaji used to wear. Even if he did not need those since his servant used to leave him at school by bicycle. I could have run faster with those slippers on! I could have always reached in time. However, masterji always showed interest in teaching me then daunting me for being late. He knows my father, who is a renowned astrologer in the village. And though masterji’s village is 2 villages away, he has this faith in my father that he allows me to learn and that though I am generally late but my enthusiasm for learning has never missed his eyes!

Today I won’t be late. I am finished with all my work and I only need a little breakfast. A sweet mango from the orchid would suffice. Talking to myself, planning the day ahead, I was suddenly stopped by Devan bhai’s strong remarks- Birju! What the hell are you upto! You are going to studies this early? What do you want to do in life? Chase big dreams and loose! Or take a small leap by learning cultivation and stuff ! Be a successful farmer! C’mon go and prepare food for the ox. We will go to farms then, once the oxen  are ready!

I couldn’t stop myself following his words. After all I was a 12 year old boy with little resources at my father’s footstep. I was born fourth among my brothers. I have looked upon my two elder brothers like my father. Being attached to my father, I followed his each word like words inscribed on my mind. I have always feared his eyes. I need never hear orders from his lips. His eyes were enough for me to follow.

This inculcation of respect for elders stopped me from replying to Devan bhai, who was pretty older than me. So I followed, however I wanted to tell him, I am a creature of unbeatable attitude brother. I will not stop, come what may. That I’ll stand by my loved one’s and I’ll still achieve my goals too. I’ll never say no. Engrossed in my thoughts, I realized my fingers were bleeding from the cuts of the grass cutter! I ignored them since I knew I can still reach the classes in time if I hurry. So I hurried. Applied soil on the wounds and hurried with Devan bhai to the fields. The ox’s were fast with their early morning diet so we reached fields before 6:30. Now, in few minutes, I’ll slip by when Devan bhai is engrossed in the field work!

The sun is up early today or I am late. Will I reach my classes on time? With my slate and bag of books, I was running at my peak, I had been crossing field by field in a hurry but still I think, I would be late today. I am happy that God has given me a father who understands education. I think knowledge is a necessary tool to carve a bright future. Even if I become a farmer, education will make me a wise farmer. Although, I adore masterji, and aspire to be like him some day. It is really fulfilling to let others know what you know, to impart in others everything you have.

I think that I have reached near the school because my legs are hurting exactly the way it hurts every day after this run. Drenched in sweat, I must first visit the well nearby because masterji’s regard for cleanliness is well known. As I drank the water and cleaned my clothes and legs to reach the class, the tiredness melted away with the water and thrust for the knowledge. This is not an irony that every kid is not born with a silver spoon but it would really be an irony for me if some day my kid will also have to run to his school like me. That will mean my generation will be stagnant and I will not let that happen. We will learn and grow generation upon generation and create a healthier and prosperous world, for our forefathers are watching us from the heaven and looking forward to us!

My love..my Humanity!

Your smile always takes away from me
every pinch of sorrow and anxiety
and gives me the life I admired to live
Yes! you are my ultimate destiny!

The sky that shines with billions of stars

only the full moon has its sanctity
my life so far was a lonely tale;
you are that sparkling twist of clarity!

A tale of love or valor and pride

as finds itself a perfect parity
My tale is now stitched such way
that gives feel of that granularity!

Being on my own, didn't now what I was for

such meaningless was my veracity
Now paths have opened and each door shows way
Yes I have achieved my humanity!

A lady extraordinary!

Son!come on open your eyes, lets come out and have fresh air!I have lots of work to do. I have to clean the worship room and pick the flowers before the sunrise.Won't you help me pick the flowers for the offerings at puja? The mosquito net is already filled with mosquitoes that wouldn't let you sleep more.So, come on now!don't be so lazy!

Every morning she would make me get up early from bed, as early as 4 AM. And I never complained which I otherwise would have every time done if anyone else would have made me to rise up so early. In fact I loved being with her. I was 8 year old kid and she was eighty five year old lady then.

I remember those mornings when our parents would take us, me and my sister, to our village during those one and half months of summer vacation at school. I never used to sleep in the night before the day we used to leave for the village. I never could. It was such a lovely day. Village was such a wonderful place to be. Beautiful lush green farms, mango trees, jamun berries, and lots of innocent friends who would place us in the cleanest corner of their hearts And all the more, she was there!My grandmother. A lady I can never forget!

Since the time I remember her, I have seen her in a while sari, as white as a cloth can be. She never walked upright. I have never seen her walk that way. People say the ticks of time had weakened her backbones but her hopes were still high. Thus she walked with both her hands on her knees, ready to throw years of hardship anytime with her shoulder and stand upright. But perhaps she wanted her long family beside her to hold her so she pretended to walk that way. She was happiest when she had all her children around her. My father with his five brothers and three sisters, when used to sit beside her, that was her moment! I could see her eyes filled with sparkles and her heart beating slowly at every words my father and uncles spoke. They would see her as banyan tree and themselves as the branches of that tree. She used to be most relaxed those moments. Everyone would compare her with movie icon mother India but she wouldn't speak anything. She would just smile. She never knew mother India. She was an alien to the outer world just as the outer world was an alien to her. Her world were her kids and their kids and their kids! She had seen generations grow and prosper in front of her. So she wouldn't participate much in the discussions. She would only listen and smile.

I loved spending time with her alone though. She had that erratic way of narrating stories, when she used to keep mum for minutes and then again re-narrate the story in quite different way as if she wanted to end some things differently. She used to miss grandfather a lot since he left for heaven few years back. But she was not sad now. She used to say this to me in her stories that grandfather is happy that she is here to take care of us.
Her stories of deities and village fantasies used to woe my young mind. I never wanted to leave her shade of pure love. All she had was to offer. When we used to leave from the village, she would tie us her gifts. Anything she would find worth giving she would pack. She wanted us to remember her from her gifts. She wanted us to remember our roots, our real home. But everything in this world has to come to an end. she knew this long before we did. So, She never stopped us. She would say come on! go on!live your life! I could feel her heart beat accelerate, when I used to hug her goodbye every-time, we visited her. And then I felt the beats accelerate faster next time we bid her goodbye. Until, the last time it accelerated!

The village now is a lonely place to be. I can feel she still wants us to come here in every vacation. She would not stop us from leaving. She never had. She is just sad that her banyan tree is falling apart!

That lady I happened to see after work!

She had this cute smile which I still remember. That smile took my whole day's frustration away just like a breezy wave washes away everything from a crowded shore! The dimple which peeped itself out from behind the bunch of her hair was extraordinarily alone, demanding audience which no soul can deter! Yes, I am unable to forget the sharpness of the beauty she carried in her persona, that lady I happened to see after work.
That day was Tuesday, we in Hindu religion worship as the day of Lord Hanuman. So I always have this feeling at the very onset of Tuesday that everything will be perfect or as we say "mangal". But, as it happens to be it never is. That morning was as usual late for me. As I had managed to put my self out of the bed, I cursed my self for one more day of sheer laziness. Although I am a fitness freak, I had somehow forget to keep myself fit those days. This insult of self realization haunts me so much at times that I just start running and not stop until I am heavily tired.
However, this day was not one of those days. I pulled myself out of the daily routine just to discover that I had go to the office without a breakfast and a packed lunch. This was because my lady cook did not come since she had a kind of function at her house. Now, let me brief you about her. She is a very holy person who offers a grand worship to GOD twice a month. This ceremony lasts for two days and she invites all of her kin in this ceremony. Although, she never mentioned hosting these ceremonies when I was hiring her or for that matter when she started working here for first few months. She only became this holy after she realized that she had established herself as our cook.
So, this was it. I had to start work without food. Then, I came to know before starting my assigned job that the person who had been assigned his job and for whom unfortunately I was the backup for, was not coming for some reason. To add flavors to my pain, my own workload was more than the usual since the previous day i.e, Monday was a holiday.
As the day slipped with its painful humors, I had been managing to bring smile to my face by still searching for that "mangal" moment of the day. But, as had been unfortunate so far, I was unable to. I had barely finished my day and had started to engross myself  with the triumphant feeling of leaving for home, when I came to know that I would have to stay longer for some reasons and close the office gates after everyone had left. Nothing could have gone worse.
After everyone had left, lonely I left the office. I took stairs and while I descended, one by one I recollected the scary moments at the work that day. I was terrified by the idea of calling Tuesday a "mangal" day. Leaving the building of my office, I entered the corridor of the next block. At the far end of the block, there was my lady, walking briskly, enjoying the view around which were only beautiful due to her!
I could not take my eyes off her. Her dark black eyes were searching roses among flowers. I could see the that her dimples did not need reasons to show themselves. Her majestic hair were shiny like the sparkles a morning sun bestows on the vast ocean floor. And as she approached, I could feel the aroma of a thousand lilies shedding their all essence just for her.
She was indeed a masterpiece of beauties. I could have fallen in love with her a million times each day of my life. Her smile carried a balm that would heal rarest of wounds. Her tall dusky beauty would inspire poets for lifetime. And above all, that selfless kindness on her face was a jewel humanity would ever have been defined with.
As she and her aroma left my physical boundaries, I realized that I had been healed.  The strain that the day had given me, had left my body and soul. I was no more thinking of the casualties of the day rather I was getting amused by the fortunate experience I was able to gather that day. I became happy. I had been cleansed by the magical beauty of that lady I happened to see after work!

My fight with me

Our constant fight with ourselves makes us realize we are still human. Never loose it!

I have been derailed to be human,
that nature had bestowed in me;
for the faith of god has never lessened,
in my inculcation and my destiny!

I have expected that the ray of light,

will glow with all its full might;
but as far away as my sight,
I have been seeing a dark night!

I have known the essence of love,

that is so necessary for existence;
yet I thrive with the sheer hatred,
that brings in my vein a shiny exuberance!

The good in me has ignited me,

to bestow the same for others to be;
while I am left with the only things,
which I would never let others see!

My noble me would never loose,

this battle for a better me;
I shall find that hope that would overcome,
the outside dark for infinity!!!

Doomsday: Are you prepared?

Since time eternity we have been living in this world. No one has ever found out where we started or where we are going to finish. We have harnessed resources that our planet has given us. We feast upon the other creatures that dwell out there. But in our immense pleasure of our victory over the realm around us we have developed a sense of security. We have made ourselves believe that no matter how worse we do, we are going to be just fine! Because we have intellect! We know how to correct things that we ourselves have set wrong.
For example this picture which I happen to take at a historical heritage in Delhi. I was happy to visit the place at my first glance. There was this film shooting going on with lots of people around. The place was still very much managed with security personals taking care of the place. The people taking care of this monument were only concerned about their job though which was to take care of the monument. This monument which was named as “Qutub Minar”, is actually hundreds of years old. I was happy to see all this that we are concerned about what we have created. And I felt that if we can keep alive a monument which is hundreds of years old, we will definitely be successful in nurturing and growing our own race which does not even degrade like this monument. We replenish our race with each reproduction cycle and we are evolving into more sophisticated brains.
Then suddenly I came across this tree which had fallen due to, of course, some unavoidable reasons. But the point is not how the tree was sucked out of life rather the point is that universal truth which still exists-“Everything that is created is destroyed”. And if this tree was to be destroyed by any means, be that the film shooting or nature’s stroke, or any other reason for that matter, then nothing in this world can stop it from getting destroyed.
Now, I am writing all this because people are all getting fussy about this doomsday in December this year. I would like to say only this much: It doesn’t matter when we perish; the only thing that matters is how we have lived our lives when we had chance to. As far as this tree is concerned it was still green, when I saw it dead!

Who AM I?

We have seen this mysterious world through different people, in different times and at different places. We have been trying to find ourselves and most importantly "myself". We have written vedas, moulded diffrent religions yet we have never been able to explain one basic question- "Who am I?"

I have been with people, different people
With helping hands or with eyes away
I have been in times, different times
In splash of colours or in “white and grey”
I have seen places, distinguished places
Where none survived or where creatures stay!

Some have killed the human in me
I had to treat them as they treated me
Some created an aura of life
I can’t payback in hundred lives!

Each and every moment was a fiery war
Every moment I felt I have never stressed so far
I have even been in times of immense pleasure
Which infinite tons of gold cannot measure!

Those wretched places which could scare the dead
I have dared to be there and have never fled
Even been to those lands where mermaids sing
And every month is the month known for its spring!

Such people such places such times thy diversity
I fail to understand the remorse of such infinity
Who am I? I do ask myself! Though I don’t dare question the creativity
For the fact I know “I understand my insecurity”
I still believe to find myself is my sensitivity
Since I am a human and that’s my dignity!!!

THE MATRIX...extended

The shiver of the cold aluminium pointers piercing through my black blood, gave me triumphing satisfaction that the next moment is going to be an another era of destroying the matrix. yes! the last breakthrough which I had, in which I was nearly done with this pathetic life.where I discovered the machines have woven nearly an unbreakable algorithm to contain my abilities. The life they gave me in the ultimate matrix, as we call it, was the most fortunate life i could ever have.

She was near me.Kissing me every moment and making me believe that there is nothing called pain and sorrow in life..that life is a beautiful dream, a perfect idea that "the one above all" could ever had.
She had given me two children- Martha and Joe, both were beautiful kids, so innocent that I enjoyed watching into their beautiful eyes for ever.
The dream could have never ended if the machines would not have entered the repetition codes in the ultimate matrix, the only element that human mind has never been able to inculcate. We humans have always been prone to create something new, something which does not mimic our past.. and I have been extraordinary in this feature of human mentality. Thats why they have called me "The one" I perceive!

And thus the dream broke and with that dream broke all my hopes for meeting her. For, in the real world, when I managed to get to the colonies, I saw she was not there. I remembered loosing her to the battle I last fought. The battle for my people, my race..for THEM!

Yes, for them who have been fighting between themselves ever since I died for them. They have forgotten the cruel marks of machines in their lives and have been re-depending on them gradually since then. And there was no Morpheus, not even any recognizable soul left to share my pathetic life with.

All was left of Matrix was some remote hiding stations by machines through which they kept their dying idea of matrix alive. The agents were at the verge of extinction and my dreams of turning into the creator of the Ultimate Matrix was dying with them! I was fed up of being Human, since It carried with it hatred, jealousy, war, terrorism and at the far end the ideas that suggested that all these human illness can be dealt with kindness and empathy.
The group that carried their agenda to purify humanity, led by Aryan, the descendant of a famous Indian american family looked special to me. At the first instant, he saw that now I am not "The One" who once fought for humanity. That I have changed after the war that oracle saw I will fight as a hero for humanity. And I noticed that he was of  no use to my idea of a permanent change that would transform humanity to a state which will eliminate the element of all humiliations from it.

So, today I embark on this yet another quest. It took me a lot of hard work to provoke everyone that the leftover of machines could be dangerous in future and that they can only be destroyed through matrix. Yet, I could not provoke Aryan. He is watching my every move. But I have to do what I got to do. The humans need a better jurisdiction to live in harmony and I need my love beside me.

So, as the aluminium rod pierced through my black blood, and I could see the fading cautious eyes of Aryan, I was entering into the matrix, where the fate of the human race is going to be a better story to tell!

Has my identity changed?

We are a viewer of the changing culture among the young people of India. We sometimes don't understand why someone adores and inculcates something which is not his and just oversees the intricacies of his own surrounding which could be more exciting and interesting, if he wants it to be so. Why young India is so attracted towards the cultural paradigm and considers it more attractive then the once so developed its own culture?

There lived in me, who bowed his head, with respect and without shame
I bowed today before a man just after knowing his name!

Those words I spoke with firm belief were not just some words
They had the power to move beyond and contain the legacy of swords

My parents were my heart and soul; their wish my testament
their desire to be fulfilled by me; made my life so vibrant.
Now I think my own well since my ambitions are infinite
although my feelings from my previous me just disunite!

The woman I loved had been with me since my previous life
She knew me as I knew her;she had been a true wife
where is she? as I find her, I see many souls
one life has many lives and each life has so many roles!

I introduce myself with the adapted me every time I change my face
though I know the previous one was not at all a disgrace
I search for the real me in the oceans of culture my psyche framed
and in the end I always wonder has my identity changed?

GONE ARE THOSE DAYS

I grew up in 90's in the evolving Indian culture....I miss those days!

The days I remember are still not the same
there pals used to call me by different names
when I was a kid I didn’t care
everybody was mate, no one would hurt there;

Where I had conquered a world of my own
and managed not to disregard anyone
I danced and sang with with fun everywhere
and would play with self invented gear;

Those trees those leaves with friends of mine
the mango branches where we sat hymning village rhyme
I never lost anyone while way back home
however today I need a mobile phone;

Gone are those days when everything seemed green
enjoying the joy of life was the prominent scene
and now I search that ray of light
that will make me happy and help me out!

Are you really here?

We human are a firm believer of the God, but everyone feels a little lost at times! I wove these lines when I was feeling the same. I don't feel the same way always but still when I sometimes stop by these lines I myself wrote, I feel at a loss of words!

Why does it happen with good people?
When we need you, you never come!
When we are week with no one with might
You prefer to remain out of sight;
And we feel lonely and lost
None must suffer of that sort.

When we become able and strong
And are not able to know why we do wrong
We cheat our loved ones
Break their heart;
Feel your power in our hand
Forget that we are made of clay and sand.

Life is the gamble love is the game
For you seems everything just the same
Be it the walk of sorrow
Or the charms of prosperity
Your presence and knowhow
Seems like ultimate parity

When you are not sure of human existence
You could have shown life a little patience
For at least some better or may be good
if not the best, for that is understood
happy we had been with some of creativity
you would have been a worthy almighty
However  life is pathetic  and dull for sure
With emotional liabilities and diseases to cure
Still we ponder and every time we show
You are present somewhere we don’t know
And you take the advantage of our anxiety
And still feel that you are the almighty!

Why did you just leave?

We always put ourselves in the shoes of the person we interact with. Generally people behave the way we predict and generally they don't. This way we choose friends and strangers. But this one guy whom I met in a train journey was non of the two categories. This was because when I put me in his shoes, I felt an excruciating pain..the pain which forced me to jot down my feelings and when I finished, the guy was gone too!

You were the epitome of enthusiasm
I cherished the moments and your sarcasm
I killed all those times with ease
When you were in my life like a breeze!

I remember us dancing at every tone
no moment was monotone
when you flavoured my life and soul
I was not just a momento of flesh and bone..

Never got to know what go wrong in relationship
why knowing someone is such a hardship
even if you give someone your everything
but the someone seems to know nothing!

I loved you with all my love and care
my affection for you was deep and rare
your intensions too never seemed fictious
all I could interpret is only this much!

With all my hue and cry
I could not understand your desire
why did you just left without pity
I never got this unfortunate serendipity!

My new world:a metro city

I just got to live in kolkata.I am basically a small town guy so I found life different here....amazed by some things that I had never seen, I rhymed my thoughts..

The world here is fast enough,
the roads dont talk as they do in our place
with shiney face and hearty embrace;
the world here is uncaring enough,
the people have their situation driven faces
as if the same shoe having different laces;
the world here is tiring enough,
the nights are hotter and the days hottest
with only climate being not a part of human quest;
The world here is intruding enough,
the behaviours I would never like to aquire
still everyday my souls's on fire.

GENERATION OF ELECTRICITY:A NEW ATTEMPT

In the pictures,University of Utah physicist Orest Symko demonstrates how heat can be converted into sound by using a blowtorch to heat a metallic screen inside a plastic tube, which then produces a loud tone, similar to when air is blown into a flute. Symko and his students are developing much smaller devices that not only convert heat to sound, but then use the sound to generate electricity. The devices may be used to cool electronics, harness solar energy in a new way, and conserve energy by changing waste heat into electric power.

As on June 4 2007,Symko expected the devices could be used within two years as an alternative to photovoltaic cells for converting sunlight into electricity. The heat engines also could be used to cool laptop and other computers that generate more heat as their electronics grow more complex. And Symko foresees using the devices to generate electricity from heat that now is released from nuclear power plant cooling towers.

Using sound to convert heat into electricity has two key steps. Symko and colleagues developed various new heat engines (technically called "thermoacoustic prime movers") to accomplish the first step: convert heat into sound.
Then they convert the sound into electricity using existing technology: "piezoelectric" devices that are squeezed in response to pressure, including sound waves, and change that pressure into electrical current.

Most of the heat-to-electricity acoustic devices built in Symko's laboratory are housed in cylinder-shaped "resonators" that fit in the palm of hand. Each cylinder, or resonator, contains a "stack" of material with a large surface area -- such as metal or plastic plates, or fibers made of glass, cotton or steel wool -- placed between a cold heat exchanger and a hot heat exchanger.

When heat is applied -- with matches, a blowtorch or a heating element -- the heat builds to a threshold. Then the hot, moving air produces sound at a single frequency, similar to air blown into a flute.Longer resonator cylinders produce lower tones, while shorter tubes produce higher-pitched tones.

The advantages of the Devices are they convert heat to sound and then to electricity and lack moving parts, so such devices will require little maintenance and last a long time. They do not need to be built as precisely as, say, pistons in an engine, which loses efficiency as the pistons wear.
The devices won't create noise pollution. First, as smaller devices are developed, they will convert heat to ultrasonic frequencies people cannot hear. Second, sound volume goes down as it is converted to electricity. Finally, it's easy to contain the noise by putting a sound absorber around the device.

Nowadays,studies are going on to improve the efficiency of acoustic conversion of heat to sound.One of the student built the device 1.5 inches long and half inch wide and worked to improve amount of heat converted to sound rather than escaping.It is also seen that by increasing air pressure, a smaller temperature difference between heat exchangers is needed for heat to begin converting into sound.Also work is being done to mount the devices together to form an array which must be "coupled" to produce the same frequency of sound and vibrate in sync.
Various metals were used to build supports to hold 5 of the devices at once.It was found that the devices could be synchronized if a support was made of a less dense metal such as aluminum and, more important, if the ratio of the support's weight to the array's total weight fell within a specific range. The devices could be synchronized even better if they were "coupled" when their sound waves interacted in an air cavity in the support.
It was also found that a resonator would be more efficient than a cylider because in a resonator sound waves keep circling through the device with nothing to reflect them.while in cylider shaped sound waves bounce against the ends of the cylinder.

Likewise many experiment are being done with the device to make it usable and worth of the $2million which had been spent on it!!!

PROVING THE STRING THEORY:

Brian Greene,a physicist at the columbia university,co-founder of world science day and an advocate of string theory is upto proving string theory.He is behind the idea of constructing the worlds biggest particle accelerator,scheduled to be built by summer 2008.This is a large Hadron collider(shown in figure) being constructed by CERN near Geneva, switzerland.

Brian Greene says that this machine will slam protons against protons at incredibly high speeds.There is a chance that in the debris from those collisions a hint to the string theory can be found!There is a possibility of hearing harmonics or resonance of strings in these collisions.

If string theory is proved right,this may be the well unified theory that may satisfy quantum mechanics as well as gravitational theories(theory for larger masses) and that sir Albert Einstein was looking for.

However if we gain nothing then it will be a sheer waste, the capital behind which could have been funded for other essential projects of public welfare.
